 1. Purpose of Membership
Ookkeeversity is a support-focused membership designed to help UK-based sole traders and small business owners manage their finances, understand bookkeeping, and become more confident using Dext Solo bookkeeping software. It offers educational guidance, access to a supportive peer community, and a library of finance resources.

2. Use of Information
All content, templates, training, and resources provided within Ookkeeversity are intended as general guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice. Members are encouraged to consult with their accountant or financial adviser before taking action based on any content provided.

3. Community Contributions
The community aspect of Ookkeeversity is designed for peer support and learning. However, any advice shared within the community by other members or unverified professionals should not be relied upon as fact. Ookkee Ltd accepts no liability for actions taken as a result of community advice.

4. Dext Solo SoftwareÂ
Membership includes access to the Dext Solo software platform, provided and supported by Dext. Ookkeeversity provides guidance on how to use Dext Solo, but software performance and support remains the responsibility of Dext. Members are required to agree to Dext’s terms and conditions when activating their software account.

5. Business Owner Responsibility
The responsibility for financial record keeping, tax filing, and compliance with HMRC regulations always lies with the business owner. Ookkee Ltd does not act as your bookkeeper or accountant. We provide education, community, and guidance to help you manage your own accounts effectively.

6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information aligned with HMRC guidelines, Ookkee Ltd cannot be held liable for any financial loss, penalties, or decisions made based on our materials. Membership use is at your own risk.

7. Updates and Amendments
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legislation or service delivery. Members will be notified of significant changes.

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ookkeeversity membership provided by Ookkee Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (10471741), with its registered office at Studio 1 The Focus Building, 1 Crimea Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, England, BH9 1AP (“Ookkee”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).Â
By registering for an Ookkeeversity membership and accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the services.Â
1. Definitions
“Member”, “you”, or “your” refers to the individual or business subscribing to the Ookkeeversity membership.Â
“Services” means access to educational resources, digital tools, software guidance, templates, and community forums delivered via the Ookkeeversity platform.Â
“Platform” refers to the hosted environment where you access your membership, including any third-party services integrated therein.
2. Membership and ScopeÂ
2.1 The Ookkeeversity membership provides non-personalised financial education, digital downloads, software usage guides (focused on Dext Solo), and access to community forums.Â
2.2 The content is intended for sole traders and small business owners based in the UK and should not be construed as personal financial advice.Â
2.3 Membership tiers may vary in access to services. Please refer to your membership plan for inclusions.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 All memberships are billed in advance, either monthly or annually, depending on the option selected at sign-up.Â
3.2 Payment is required via an authorised third-party processor. You must keep valid payment details up to date.Â
3.3 All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).Â
3.4 If a payment fails, we may suspend your access until payment is received in full.
 4. Cancellation and Termination
4.1 You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings.Â
4.2 Upon cancellation, your access to the platform will remain available until the end of the billing period, after which it will be terminated.Â
4.3 No refunds are provided for partial periods, unused access, or accidental renewals.Â
4.4 We reserve the right to terminate your access for misuse, non-payment, breach of these Terms, or misconduct within the community.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 Ookkee provides general educational content and tools but is not responsible for your compliance with HMRC, tax deadlines, or legal obligations.Â
5.2 You agree that any business decisions made as a result of content on the platform are your responsibility.Â
5.3 Ookkee will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.
6. Community and User Conduct
6.1 You agree to use community spaces respectfully. Bullying, spam, unsolicited promotions, or abusive behaviour may result in immediate removal.Â
6.2 Content shared by other users or non-verified professionals should be interpreted with caution. Ookkee accepts no responsibility for advice given in the community.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All resources, guides, videos, checklists, and course content are the intellectual property of Ookkee Ltd and may not be reproduced or shared without permission.Â
7.2 You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own business only.
8. Data Protection
8.1 We collect and process your data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.Â
8.2 You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
9. Changes to these terms
9.1 We may amend these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email or the platform.Â
9.2 Continued use of the platform after changes indicates your agreement to the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
